This One’s For The Gyaldem – EOE Collective 3rd Anniversary Showcase

On 14th October 2025, we came together at the Football Manager Studio to celebrate three years of Effort Over Environment (EOE) — three years of women’s football, culture, storytelling, and community.

This One’s For The Gyaldem was not just an anniversary event. It was a moment to pause and reflect on the journey so far: the girls and women whose effort has driven them through barriers, the founders, players, and parents who have shown resilience, and the collective spirit that has made EOE what it is today.

The evening featured panel discussions, giving voices to emerging talent and sharing insight into what it’s like to navigate the world of women’s football. The stories told were raw, inspiring, and honest — a reminder that behind every goal, every milestone, and every initiative is a human journey of perseverance and ambition.

The event culminated in the EOE Awards, celebrating those rewriting the narrative in women’s football. One of the highlights was the opportunity for an award winner to receive a two-week placement at Talk Sport, a tangible reminder that effort opens doors and that communities coming together can create real opportunities.

Looking back, This One’s For The Gyaldem was more than a showcase. It was a reflection of what EOE has always been about: celebrating effort, amplifying voices, and building environments where girls and women can thrive. Three years in, the gyaldem continue to inspire, lead, and remind us all that progress comes one step, one story, one effort at a time.
