Effort Over Environment x The Eze Foundation: Creating Space for the Next Generation

Date: May 2025
Location: Crystal Palace Academy Training Ground

In May 2025, Effort Over Environment (EOE) proudly partnered with The Eze Foundation, founded by Crystal Palace and England international Eberechi Eze, to deliver the first-ever Girls’ Eze Invitational — a landmark tournament celebrating the talent, creativity, and resilience of young women in football.

Hosted in South London, the tournament brought together some of the brightest emerging players, creating a powerful space for community, opportunity, and representation within the game.

EOE’s involvement reflected its mission to champion creativity, culture, and opportunity within women’s football and grassroots sport — spotlighting stories that go beyond the pitch. Through content released in August 2025, EOE captured the heart of the event: effort, expression, and empowerment, showing how community-led initiatives like the Eze Invitational are reshaping the landscape of women’s football.

Supported by Sports Direct and New Balance, the event reached national audiences, featuring on major football platforms and sparking conversations around access, visibility, and investment in the women’s game.

Together, Effort Over Environment and The Eze Foundation celebrated more than football — they celebrated unity, belief, and the power of effort to transform environments and open doors for the next generation of girls in sport.
