The 4 Corners Cup

On 19th July 2025, Effort Over Environment (EOE), in collaboration with Core Collective, delivered the first-ever 4 Corners Cup (4CC) — a groundbreaking grassroots womens tournament bringing together North, East, South, and West London to celebrate and compete in women’s football.

Designed to spotlight community pride and local talent, the 4 Corners Cup is more than just a competition. It provides a platform for connection, confidence, and culture, reflecting EOE’s mission to showcase, engage, and inspire the next generation of girls and women in football.

This year’s tournament was proudly supported by Skechers and Boot Buddy. Skechers provided every player with a brand-new pair of boots, while Boot Buddy sponsored the halftime show, keeping the crowd energized and engaged. These partnerships helped elevate the grassroots game, celebrating the power, skill, and dedication of female footballers across London.

The event, hosted at Merky HQ in Dagnal Park, captured the spirit of community-led sport, demonstrating how effort, teamwork, and culture can transform opportunities for young women in football.
